Today, headphones are becoming more and more involved in our lives. We use earphones to listen to music and reduce noise and study quietly. Even so, we still find that some ears can hurt our ears and make us feel uncomfortable. This is why we need to consider whether to buy bone-conduction headphones.
Why buy bone-conduction headphones?
First, we need to understand how bone-conduction headphones transmit sound. Bone Conduction Headphones deliver sound through the cheekbones. Other headphones, however, transmit sound through the air. So, that means the main difference between bone-conduction headphones and other headphones is the way you listen. Bone-conduction headphones can even hear without having to be placed in the ear, thus indirectly reducing the damage headphones can do to our ears.
Bone conduction headset features
Open-ear Design: Currently, the bone-conduction headphones on the market have an open-ear design that simply hangs outside the ear to listen. The advantage of this design is that it helps us to be aware of the dynamics and sounds of the outside world while reducing the prolonged contact between the ear and the headset.
Waterproof: Compared with other earphones, the bone conduction earphone improves the waterproof function, which is conducive to increasing the practicability of the earphone. For example, we can use it for fitness, running, bathing, swimming, and so on.
Long Battery Life: In terms of charging mode, the current charging mode of bone conduction headphones is USB charging. About 1.5H-2h charging time can meet 6-8 hours of music or 10-12 hours of talk.
In addition to the above-mentioned features of bone-conduction headphones, we also need to pay attention to the size and weight of bone-conduction headphones, which directly affect our wearing experience.

Solid overall, esp. for the price
This is my first bone conduction headset, but I've tried a colleague's Shokz. This is nowhere near the sound quality of the Shokz, but this is a third of the cost. Decent sound quality, although it takes some getting used to hearing everything else. This is great for neighborhood walks because I don't feel like a car is going to sneak up on me and run me over, although wind and other noises can be very distracting with these headphones. Takes some getting used to. I use these primarily for remote work, which involves a lot of Zoom meetings. My old Bluetooth headphones were in and out, and often people would tell me they couldn't hear me. I haven't had that problem with these... a solid Bluetooth connection and everyone can hear me every time. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. Great entry-level bone conduction product for the price.

I had broken my second pair of Aftershokz jawbone headphones and did not want to pay the price of them again so looked for a good alternative. I was surprised at how easily this product connected to my Bluetooth with ease as well as can pair with other devices. Naturally, the draw for these types of headphones is that they sit outside of the ear and this product does just that.
Conclusion
In this article, we have learned the points to pay attention to when purchasing bone-conduction headphones. However, what kind of headphones you need to buy completely depends on your needs. I hope this article will be helpful to you.
